Hefting the back of the hive is the quick check \u2014 it should feel like it\u2019s nailed down.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n<section class=\"pgamo-text-image pgamo-text-image--left pgamo-text-image--dark\" id=\"how\">\n<div class=\"pgamo-text-image__inner\">\n<div class=\"pgamo-text-image__media\" style=\"background-image:url('https:\/\/pgamo.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/10\/homestead-canning-pantry-1024x683.jpg')\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"pgamo-text-image__content\">\n<h2>Keeping Bees Well<\/h2><div class=\"pgamo-text-image__text\"><p>Log each inspection in a minute \u2014 eggs seen, brood, stores, queen cells \u2014 and pick when to look again. Count mites as mites per 100 bees so you know when to treat, and the tracker reminds you when treatment strips come out and to count again afterwards.
